First stop is the charming island of Oahu and a three night stay at welcoming Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort with a magnificent setting beside the stunning sands and welcoming waters of Waikiki Beach.  Waikiki is one of the islands most popular beaches and it’s right on your doorstep – head on over for a refreshing dip in the ocean or some adventurous watersports including volleyball, surfing water-skiing, and kitesurfing. And if that wasn’t enough fun for the day, the award winning restaurants and upmarket shops in the heart of Waikiki’s entertainment district at Waikiki Beach Walk are just a short 5 minute walk away from the resort.

Other popular Oahu attractions and activities includes Waikiki Aquarium, Honolulu Art Museum, surfing, sailing, snorkelling and hiking along some of the many popular island trails. Oahu Parks and historical points of interest include Ahupua a O Kahana State Park, Iolani Palace State Monument, Ka‘ena Point State Park and the  Kaiwi State Scenic Shoreline.

Next stop Maui and three nights at the Ka’anapali Beach Hotel, a Hawaiian themed hotel with a wonderful setting amongst lush tropical gardens that’s just steps away from the miles and miles of golden sand and pristine waters of Ka’anapali Beach and is also within easy reach of the exciting water sports, restaurants, art galleries and bustling boutiques of West Maui. Attractions close to the hotel include Black Rock Beach, a popular watersports area with cliff jumping, snorkelling, paddle boarding and lots more all to hand. It’s also one of top seasonal whale spotting destinations in the world where humpback whales travel through the protected waters of the bay from December – May. 

Island highlights and historical points of interest include the Haleakala National Park, Wai'anapanapa State Park, Makena State Park, the Iao Valley State Monument, and the popular hiking trails at the Polipoli Spring State Recreation Area. Whalers Village Shopping Centre & Museum is the ideal spot for a little retail therapy and for gathering up some holiday souvenirs and mementos. Browse the high end fashion shops and surf wear stores and enjoy a meal at one of the many oceanfront restaurants and casual eateries before you visit the Whalers Village Museum where you’ll find out all about the history of Hawaii’s whaling industry and be able to view its large collection of whaling memorabilia. 

Enjoy a fun filled Hawaiian ocean adventure on the Molokini Snorkel Cruise as you swim and snorkel to the amazing backdrop of the Molokini Crater, a true underwater paradise showcasing some of Hawaii’s most exciting marine life. Later on you’ll be able to experience Hawaii’s green sea turtles nesting in their natural habitat along Maui’s south shore – it’s a wonderful experience and a great end to the trip. Other popular island tours include the Hana rainforest tour and the spectacular Haleakala sunrise tour.

Top of the Big Island to do list has to be a trip to the Volcanoes National Park where you’ll be able to explore Kilauea the youngest and most famous of all the Hawaiian Volcanoes – it’s been erupting continuously between 1983 and 2018 and it’s lava can regularly be seen flowing into the ocean. The Volcanoes Unveiled Tour is an exciting and informative way to explore some of the park’s most dynamic terrain with a highlight of the trip being an off road drive to a private lava tube. It’s a full day excursion that starts with a scenic drive on Saddle Road and finishes with a friendly pau hana (Hawaiin for happy hour) with fellow travellers– in between you’ll learn about the island’s history from a knowledgeable guide and enjoy a picturesque a 2 / 3 mile hike and a delicious picnic style lunch – it’s a fantastic experience providing a lifetime of memories for everyone involved. Other highlights of the Volcanoes National Park include the Kilaukea’iki Crater, the Thurston Lava Tube, the Chain of Craters Road, Lava Watching and the Sulphur Banks Trail.

Big Island’s other popular attractions and activities includes Akaka Falls, Rainbow Falls, Punalu’u Black Sand Beach, Papakolea Green Sand Beach, Pu’uhonua o Honaunau National Historic Park and swimming with Manta Rays.

Often referred to as the Garden Isle and considered by many to be the most beautiful of all the Hawaiian islands, Kauai is a an island of spectacular beauty and dramatic scenery with lots of laid back small towns to explore and an amazing array of outdoor activities for everyone to experience. Enjoy an exhilarating jungle kayak ride on the Wailua River beside spectacular waterfalls and lava caves, discover some of the island’s wonderful marine with a snorkelling trip to Poipu Beach Park, spend the morning hiking the magnificent trails of Kokee State Park and finish the day off with an exhilarating zip lining adventure! The historic town of Hanapepe is home to charming shops, local art galleries and lots of quaint local eateries and it’s well preserved buildings and infrastructure are so authentic that it’s been used as a location for films like “The Thornbirds” and “Flight of the intruder” – it’s a great place to visit for some souvenir snaps and selfies! And while we’re talking about films, movie buffs should book a spot on the Kauai Movie Adventure tour – it’s an amazing experience visiting the spots where some of Hollywood’s most famous Blockbusters and TV shows were filmed including Jurassic Park, Blue Hawaii, Donovan’s Reef and Lilo and Stitch.

Back at the Kauai Beach Resort there’s a fantastic array of amenities and cultural activities for guests to experience. Soak up some Hawaiian sun at one of the four lagoon style swimming pools complete with hot tubs and a special sandy bottomed kiddies pool with its own waterslide.
