Since there is no official Worldwide hotel classification system, we have devised our own grading system to assist you in selecting the right hotel.  The star classification system used on this website represents Travelplanners' assessment of each hotel that, in our opinion, reflects the facilities, service, location and overall standard of accommodation offered by each property.

Credit Card Deposit Policy
Many hotels in the USA operate policies that require guests to provide a credit card deposit for incidentials upon check-in.  Cash deposits are no longer acceptable and some hotels will not allow guests to check-in without a valid credit card.
