Booking Conditions
Travelplanners is a trading name of USAirtours Holidays Ltd who acts merely as agents for other operators and suppliers, whose booking conditions apply, a copy of which are available on request. We only deal with ATOL bonded companies. This guarantees you complete financial protection for any money paid to us.
All bookings taken are strictly on an 'on request' basis and you will be emailed a booking request number. This does not indicate your booking has been confirmed at this stage and no money will be debited from your credit/debit card until we have booked your holiday requirements exactly as you have requested.
When we make your booking, you will be sent confirmation detailing the reservations we have made on your behalf, which you should check immediately, in particular the names and spellings as these terms of trading are binding in all cases unless you contact us within 48 hours of receiving your booking confirmation. Where your booking includes flights, details of the ATOL holder with whom your booking has been made will be detailed and your confirmation invoice as soon as we receive it.
The person making the booking warrants that he/she has the authority of all persons included in the reservation to make the booking on their behalf.
All costings are subject to final confirmation and any timings given are also subject to change. We will inform you of any major change if we are advised by the operator concerned.
All clients must be in a possession of a full 10 year passport. You must advise us if you do not have a British Citizens passport and if travelling to the USA you should familiarise yourself with US visa requirements. In particular if any of your party has any criminal conviction you may not be able to use the US Visa Waiver scheme and you must obtain up to date information as if your documents are not correct the airline may prevent you from boarding and Travelplanners will have no further liability towards you.
Health requirements for your journey can be found in the Department of Health booklet T5 Health Advice for Travellers and you should ask a doctor for any medical advice for the countries you are visiting. We strongly advise you check the Foreign Office Travel advice web site before booking and departing www.fco.gov.uk/travel/countryadvice.asp
As we act merely as a booking agent for the operator, we can accept no responsibility for any injury illness or death or other loss caused unless as a result of our proven negligence or that of our employees acting in the course of their business.
If you need to cancel or amend your booking you must contact us in writing as soon as possible. In addition to any charges imposed by the operator we will make the following charges to cover the additional administration involved:
Amendment: £25 per person for amendments to existing bookings
Cancellation: £25 per person except where the cancellation charges are 100% where no further charge will be imposed.
In addition, should you fail to pay any balance before the date stated, we may charge an administration fee of £25 to cover the additional costs incurred in contacting you.
We are happy to accept bookings using credit or debit cards, however a credit card charge of 2% will applied but there is no charge for debit cards.
Any special request will be passed on to the operator concerned but we cannot guarantee that it will be provided.
If you have any reason to complain about the service we provide you must contact us immediately and in all cases no later than one month from your return from holiday.
This contract is governed by the law of England and Wales in all respects.
